Diving at the Blue Heron Bridge is highly dependent on tides and boat charters typically leave on time, so it's very important to plan ahead and stay on schedule. Each West Palm Beach trip is planned for the specific tide predictions and boat schedules in effect for that particular weekend.
Saturday, 17 January 2015- 15:00 - Arrive at Pura Vida Divers, pick up tanks
- 15:20 - Depart Pura Vida Divers for Blue Heron Bridge
- 15:25 - Arrive at Blue Heron Bridge
- 15:30 - Blue Heron Bridge Orientation
- 15:45 - Set up scuba units, don wet suits
- 16:00 - Enter water for Navigation and Search and Recovery Adventure Dives (high tide at 5:27 PM)
- 17:30 - Exit water (official sunset at 17:51, twilight at 18:16)
- 17:35 - Pack gear, depart for Pura Vida Divers
- 17:50 - Arrive at Pura Vida divers, return tanks
- 18:00 - Arrive and check-in at Seaspray Inn
- 18:30 - Debrief dives, brief for next day
- 18:45 - Dinner
- 08:30 - Arrive at Lake Park Marina and check in at boat
- 09:00 - Boat departs for Drift and Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dives
- 13:00 - Boat arrives back at Lake Park Marina
- 13:05 - Lunch, be back at boat by 13:30
- 13:30 - Boat departs for Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty dive and experience dive
- 16:30 - Boat arrives back at Lake Park Marina
- 09:30 - Arrive at Lake Park Marina and check in at boat
- 10:00 - Boat departs for Deep Adventure Dive and experience dive
- 14:00 - Boat arrives back at Lake Park Marina
- 14:10 - Debrief dives
- 14:30 - End of trip
- IMPORTANT: you may begin driving home immediately. If flying, you must wait 18 hours from last dive.
